As Vice President of Improving Enterprises, Inc., Mr. Girvin leads the Microsoft Technology Practice and is a member of the company's board of directors. Mr. Girvin co-founded Improving Enterprises in August, 2004. He brings a history of executive management experience and technical expertise. As a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD), he contributes to the technical direction of the company and evangelizes its professional services through community involvement with the International Association of Software Architects, Agile Project Leadership Network, DFW SharePoint User Group, and Dallas C# SIG, among others. Prior to Improving, Mr. Girvin was VP of Product Delivery at One Technologies, COO at OptiView Technologies, and VP of Product Development at Roku Technologies. He started his career as a Technology Consultant and spent five years as Principal Technologist and Technical Director at ObjectSpace. |

Becky Isserman has been a SharePoint Developer, since 2005 when she went through the Portal University with Levi, Ray, and Shoup in Springfield, IL. She is an Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD). She has been a web designer/developer since she was fifteen hand coding HTML 3.0 websites in NotePad. She enjoys working with SharePoint 2007, because she can perform the roles of administrator, developer, designer, and architect. She currently lives in Olathe, Kansas, where she works at Terracon Consultants, Inc. and lives with her two cats, Gambit and Rogue, plus her boyfriend, Johnny. Brett Schuchert started teaching computer literacy courses in 1985 in a continuing education environment. He started working with Smalltalk, C and OOP 1989 deploying several applications in both languages (with the emphasis on C ). He started using Java in late 1996, deploying to production his first Java application in 1997. He has been training, consulting and mentoring the past several years. He is finishing up a four year engagement at Hertz where he has helped transition approximately 50 COBOL programmers into Java/J2EE. On this assignment he has implemented significant parts of a rewrite of Hertz' reservation and booking back-end systems as well as mentored the business analysis in software process and requirements management. Corey has always focused on rapid adoption of new Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio 2008, .NET Framework 3.5, LINQ, and SilverLight. Keith caught the programming bug in 1980 when he first had access to the classic TRS-80 Model 1. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in the new Electrical/Computer Engineering curriculum, he has worked with IBM, AT&T and some great consulting and development firms. Keith has stayed on top of Microsoft development technologies by seeking certifications beginning with SQL Server 7.0. In 2002, he was one of the first 102 recipients of the MCAD certification. In 2006, Keith updated certifications to include MCPD, MCITP, and MCTS. From 2004-2007, he was awarded one of Microsoft’s MVP awards for .NET development in C#. Going into his fifth year as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Keith presents technical information in an energetic and concise way in which novice and advanced programmers can benefit. Drawing on years of business experience, Keith assists developers in understanding not only the technology, but the business implications and how to put their knowledge into practical use. After five years of leading KSDynamics, Inc., he now leads Scalability Experts’ Training and Content Development. He now shares, throughout the world, his passion for helping others learn more about the heart of most applications, the database. Recently his team worked with Microsoft in creating SQL Server 2008 content as one of only two providers for the Developer and Platform Evangelist group. Currently his team is developing an update to their popular Oracle to SQL Training as well as a number of BI topics. |

For the last two years, Kurt has been running a small software company that builds publishing tools for web based magazines. Their primary product is currently in a limited beta powering the Ars Technica site ( http://arstechnica.com). Last month it served ~30 million page views! He has been fascinated with programming languages and environments for over 3 years and has done a number of projects in both Rails and PHP (in addition to all his .NET work). Lately, he has been spending lots of time with alternative .NET languages. His software currently has functional bits in both IronPython and F#, mostly for testing and deployment. |

Working primarily in the public sector during his career, Raymond has designed and built several high profile enterprise level applications for all levels of the government. Raymond now works as a solutions architect for EMC. Raymond is a Microsoft MVP C# and also president of the Oklahoma Agile Developers Group. Raymond spends a lot of his time learning and teaching such things as Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Design, Domain Driven Design, Design Patterns and Extreme Programming practices and principles, to name a few. |
