Title

Keith Nicholson

Bio

Keith caught the programming bug in 1980 when he first had access to the classic TRS-80 Model 1. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors of Science in the new Electrical/Computer Engineering curriculum, he has worked with IBM, AT&T and some great consulting and development firms.

Keith has stayed on top of Microsoft development technologies by seeking certifications beginning with SQL Server 7.0. In 2002, he was one of the first 102 recipients of the MCAD certification. In 2006, Keith updated certifications to include MCPD, MCITP, and MCTS. From 2004-2007, he was awarded one of Microsoft’s MVP awards for .NET development in C#.

Going into his fifth year as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Keith presents technical information in an energetic and concise way in which novice and advanced programmers can benefit. Drawing on years of business experience, Keith assists developers in understanding not only the technology, but the business implications and how to put their knowledge into practical use.

After five years of leading KSDynamics, Inc., he now leads Scalability Experts’ Training and Content Development. He now shares, throughout the world, his passion for helping others learn more about the heart of most applications, the database. Recently his team worked with Microsoft in creating SQL Server 2008 content as one of only two providers for the Developer and Platform Evangelist group. Currently his team is developing an update to their popular Oracle to SQL Training as well as a number of BI topics.
